Start playing Bobby Engram.

Anyone who saw the Seahawks play in New York last week witnessed a truly embarrassing performance. Except for one aspect.

Engram's comeback effort from a broken shoulder was truly remarkable. Eight catches for 61 yards after more than a two-month layoff. Impressive.

The Seahawks were otherwise so terrible in the game, it's easy to walk away with the impression: We need to stay away from these guys. But a veteran fantasy participant knows better than that.

Even bad teams have a place in fantasy football. In fact, sometimes being bad helps certain individuals be good.

Clearly, the Seahawks are going to fall behind in most games, which is going to put them in a passing mode. As long as Matt Hasselbeck is relatively healthy, this team will at least have the potential to throw the ball.

And given the current state of the Seattle receiving corps (yes, Deion Branch is hurt again), it's obvious who's going to get a huge chuck of the receiving yards.

If Engram can catch eight balls after a two-month absence, imagine what he's capable of once he truly gets his legs back under him. I expect big things this week, and pretty much every week the rest of the season.

If you've stashed him on your roster in hopes of a healthy recovery, congratulations. Your time has come. Play him now.
