Suggest a rules change.
One of the problems with some fantasy leagues is they are unwilling to change. A reason for this is they wait too long to address obvious problems.
So I say: When you see a problem, report it immediately. That should get the wheels spinning toward change while the problem is still impacting your league.
Take defensive scoring, for example. Many leagues go overboard awarding defensive points. Sacks, fumble recoveries, interceptions ... don't even get me started about percentages.
From where I sit, the most important aspect of a defense is its ability to keep the other team from scoring. That's the idea, right?
So I say propose a new scoring system (to be put into place next season), one that awards defenses points based solely on points allowed. It's simple and makes sense.
You shut out an opponent, you deserve maximum points. I don't care how many sacks, fumble recoveries and interceptions you recorded.
And you give up 31 points, you deserve nothing even if you happened to get to the quarterback a couple of times.
The time to promote change is now.
