Wizards fans, we have an exciting match-up tonight in which rookie reserve JaVale McGee will go head-to-head (and hopefully not in the Butler-Pietrus kind of way) against superman reincarnation,
Dwight Howard
.

In short,
Happy Thanksgiving!

JaVale McGee earned a starting role over Etan Thomas four games ago, and despite consistently finding himself in early foul trouble, the man is stepping up and selling jerseys with his crazy-length and wicked jams.

McGee's spotlight is of course symptom of Brendan Haywood's absence this year, due to a wrist injury that will keep him out until at least April.

Haywood, who celebrates his 29th birthday today, was a big part of Washington's offense last year, averaging 10.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game.  Happy Birthday, Brendan, and have a great Thanksgiving.

The 2-10 Washington Wizards are coming off a blow-out win over Golden State last Tuesday, which began a three-game home stretch under new head coach, Ed Tapscott.  The Wizards will look to continue their current win streak and pick up some valuable wins in the Southeastern Division against Orlando tonight and Atlanta on Saturday.

Tonight's game starts at 8:00 p.m. ET, and will air on Comcast SportsNet as well as being featured as the first of two in a TNT Thanksgiving double-header.
