Around the blogosphere, the idea of a NBA preseason doesn't seem like the most exciting time of the year. But for Washington, the match-ups between reserves should be interesting for any fan of the Wizards.
If training camp is any indication there will be a lot of competition for starting roles, and it's hard to pin who will start the season at the center, shooting guard, or point guard positions.
The Wizards have played .500 ball or better the last three regular seasons, and finished 43-39 last year. Their preseason record the last three years generally reflects their steady standing in the league. During the Wizards 2005-06 preseason, the Wizards played in back-to-back games with extended minutes. But is overtime really thrilling when it's the preseason?
