Just south of Sacramento is the fast-growing community of Elk Grove where "Old Town" keeps the "old west" humming  -- in its live country music that is.  While exploring the historic 1850 stage coach community -- the original home to California gold miners -- come on by The Wrangler.  It not only serves up great beer on tap but great live country music with a diverse schedule of great country western and honky tonk performers.

This weekend The Wagon Wheel Stage Presents:

FRIDAY - July 10

The Wolf, Dave Kelly, The Wrangler and the ultimate hillbilly band, San Luis Obispo’s Red Eye Junction perform on the Wagon Wheel Stage.

SATURDAY - July 11

Rowdy Kate and her authentic Steel Guitar

LINE DANCING LESSONS
Line dancing lessons first and third Fridays of summer months from 7:30 – 9:00

"Our goal is simple...keep the real country and western tradition alive. No strip mall, no goofy gimmicks and no once-a-week country music outfit here.  From the early 60's we've taken pride in the fact that we are one of Northern California's last real honky-tonks".
