The skies around Tampa Bay are going to be lit up on July 4th with all of the fantastic firework displays that are taking place. In Tampa, we'll have fireworks galore from Channelside starting at 6:00 p. and for all of the summer tourists in St. Pete, you're in for a real treat if you've never experienced the fireworks from the the Pier.
This year will be no different so make plans to be there and get in on the celebration fun. The fireworks show will begin at 9:00 pm but don't wait to make your way to the Pier. Get there early as fun activities and music begins at 1:00 pm. Tour the pier, visit the aquarium and have lunch at Columbia Restaruant, Cha Cha Coconuts, Captain Al's, or Fresco's Waterfront Bistro then step out on the rooftop with a cool brew or beverage and get in the mood for the party celebration.
Just in case there's any confusion, the Pier is located 800 Second Avenue, St. Petersburg. Parking garages are open downtown and the free shuttle trolley can take you all the way to the front of the Pier and back to downtown if you don't feel like walking.
It's free everybody and it will be the best entertainment going on Saturday night so plan ahead to celebrate red, white and blue day.
