Since the dawn of MTV, music videos have always been an easy way to promote albums. They serve as an additional outlet for musicians, going above and beyond what the average recording studio could offer: giving images, providing physical representations of an artist’s work so an audience could view as well as hear the music. Therefore, how could we possibly make the best techno/trance music manifest itself on screen? What could we expect to see that would best symbolize Benny Benassi’s heart thumping waves of sound in the song, Satisfaction? Or what about the cool trumpets that ring in East Clubbers Sextasy? Well nothing but gorgeous, naked women of course! Here I’ve collected a handful of the sexiest techno music videos to show just how deeply rooted my favorite type of music is in sex. It’s not just about selling records, it’s also about developing a taste for sound through these erotic displays of fetishes and voyeurism. Let’s take a look at my Top Ten Sexiest Techno Music Videos…

         10) Every man’s sexiest nightmare: being chased down by a group of hot women for sport. That’s probably why Studio B’s music video for I See Girls is simply just that. This techno track presents a deep bass behind rap verses about women and how they drive men crazy. The video is a hilarious display by just how true this can be in our society. With images of slender female bodies in athletic uniforms and helmets, I’m sure whenever that man gets caught by the brigade, he won’t be sorry.

         9) If there’s one song that will for sure get your body moving, it’s Ida Corr vs Fedde le Grande’s Let Me Think About It. Upon first listening, it’s an exhilarating composition of electronic sound and live instrumental. It has it’s own thumping style with lyrics that are fun and sexy. Yet the video takes on a different level, brandishing lovely women in Afros, bikini outfits, and sunglasses playing instruments. It’s got to be the funkiest and most energetic band of hotties ever to get down to a dance track.

       8) Next on this list is homage to disco freaky sounds that display a great synthesizer and knockout bodies, Till West & DJ Delicious’s, Same Man. With the line, “you’re gonna get it tonight,” there’s no mistaking how sexually infused this track is. The video is a two minute dance off between a blonde bombshell and a couple of challengers locked up in a cage and ready to go at it on the floor. Women, in this case, are compared to animals, dangerous, feisty, and eager to fight and when paired with bouncing rhythms can create quite the erotic sport. Insider tip, put your money on the blonde.

       7) The next song presents us with a dark skinned beauty whose sweet voice curls around your ears, it's French Affair's Sex Sex Sexy. This techno song features sensual French lyrics in between an intoxicating rhythm of electronic sounds and women’s whispers. There is no questioning the erotic focus. The video, however, takes the song to another level. It displays French Affair in a bed in the middle of the ocean, a direct representation of how deep her desires are as well as hot men and women dancing and feeling their bodies. Even the line, “No, no, no…” is a playoff on the idea that when women say no, it means yes. She is teasing her audience and in the process effectively displays her ability to be open and fresh about her physical needs.

       6) Sextasy by East Clubbers is no doubt a frantic techno song that can make you feel like you’re going insane. With it’s high caliber and rough beats mixed with a feminine voice mouthing off things like, “touch my ass, feel my lips,” this track oozes sexuality. The video presents women in the typical house environment, the club scene. Throughout we observe female bodies twisting and flowing to the sounds as well as their uncompromising behavior that ensues. It is as if the music is so effective, these women wander the club scene touching each other and trapping hopeless men in elevators to get what they want. It is possible in this day and age, with such amazing vocals and rhythms, that music literally consumes people and in this video we can see just how true that notion becomes with house music.
