On yesterday's One Life to Live, Clint attempts to save his family’s good name from reality TV with a shotgun in his hand after David Vickers enters the Buchanan residence determined to launch his reality show.
Introducing Nora as Llanview's D.A., he describers her as a reformed jew , the mother of a half-black daughter with a history of drug abuse and the mother of the paralyzed kid, Matthew. Naturally this causes Nora to come unglued--not to mention Clint who is running around the mansion with his shot gun ready to pump bullets into Vickers and his crew.
Clint and Bo struggle over the gun and it discharges near the mantle. Vickers slides into high drama mode on camera stating how desperately he needs a relationship with his father. He wants to learn how to fish!
The Buchanan’s are taken back after discovering Vickers has been paying Matthew’s legal bills. Nora and Bo are stunned to hear this and even more shocked to learn that Matthew and Clint signed some sort of release forms giving Vickers and crew access to film the family. Vickers talks about how the reality series will attract so much attention it will be made into a movie. He will of course play himself but all the other "Buchs" will be cast.
Nora totally loses it and just about chokes Vickers to death. You've got to love David's determination and when you watch the end of the video below, you'll see that he's got a soft side and is now showing some genuine concern for Matthew opting to fight for his surgery.
Nobody brings on the hilarity quite like Tuc Watkins as David Vickers. It is thrilling to have him back in Llanview.
