Dear Bill Lewis and Elizabeth Spaudling:

I am hoping you do not mind this intrusion but I was just thinking about the fact that my invitation to your wedding never arrived.  Of course, I most likely would have shown up on the wrong date as most of your guests would have had it not been for Dinah rescuing your love mission.

I have adored both of you for the entire duration of your relationship and it seems to me that the two of you are most definitely a couple that will meet the challenges of life and remain together forever.  That is not a scenario most soap viewers witness but you Bill and Lizzie (aka Bizzie) are just different.  You have something special.

It is a very sad fact that the lighthouse in Springfield is going dark very shortly and we will never get to spy on your 'happily ever after' thing but you gave us a fabulous romance and a pretty terrific impromptu wedding ceremony very close to the end of GL and this mattered to the fans of this show.

Okay, so there were mistakes made as you attempted to embark on the journey of planning your own wedding.  The flowers ordered were mere bulbs (Lizzie called them onions) and she had to settle for something much simpler. The band had food poisoning and could not perform.  Josh--who was to minister the wedding took off for Florida to help Reva gain additional information about Jeffrey's downed plane and well the cake was destroyed in route, but both of you recovered. It cannot go without saying that you are the comeback couple of the century.

In retrospect, with all of your money you could have sat back and relaxed by hiring a professional wedding planner.  Instead you chose to put your own signature on this wedding and frankly, it was a delight to watch. You thought you could do it better than an impersonal wedding planner and you know what kids?  You did just that mistakes and all.

It is way too difficult to fathom life without Bizzie.  I am crushed my invitation never arrived and beyond crushed that I will no longer be able to follow your romantic journey. It's way too sad.

In addition, I will never purchase another Pringles potato chip again because in my view P&G sold this show down the river.  I do however find myself craving a Twinkie today.  I loved the cake you and Bill made out of Twinkies. It was too cute for words and am I happy that the Hostess company inspired you to attempt to save your wedding day.  Pringles are out and Twinkies are in.

Before you sail off into the sunset know just one thing.  You have given GL viewers everywhere a gift during your romantic journey and we won't forget the chemistry you shared during that love venture of yours.  Long live Bizzie as they say. It's also okay if you want to send me an invitation after the fact just so I can say I was invited.
