The deal on 'Days of our Lives' EJ's meltdown and Carly's return

Days of our Lives couldn't be hotter right now between Nicole's big secret coming out, EJ's blood pressure rising as a result of those blood hounds he has trailing wife Nicole all over town to discover that big secret of hers and Carly Manning's return to Salem with an obvious agenda all her own.
We all knew Nicole would ignite a furious fire once EJ discovered her pregnancy pillow and her baby switching secret and it was time for all of this to come out. There is no going back for Nicole at this point and while I don't doubt she loves her daughter, she has stretched EJ and Brady to the limits and she could possibly be left with nothing.
Elsewhere in Salem, we were treated to a brief glimpse of Carly Manning's return and it became immediately clear she came back with a vengeance. Manning came home to Salem with an obvious agenda given the fact that she roared into town and manage to plunge a knife into ex-husband guy Lawrence after simply stating she cannot believe she married a total monster. You think the fact that Lawrence telling Carly he couldn't believe he married a witch set her off?
This is all too interesting in my book. EJ Dimera (James Scott) and Carly Manning (Crystal Chappell) have consistently stepped up to bring passion and over the top emotions to whatever story they are telling. Neither one has to utter a sentence to convey a point. One can simply capture what they are attempting to convey by looking into their eyes. A pairing between these two could be interesting.
While that might be a stretch, Chappell as Manning could keep Scott's portrayal as EJ Manning in check much better than Nicole has and we could then simply refer to this show Days of our Eyes on our favorite underground message boards. You think?
