Ryan continues to steam over the fact that Annie has taken the steps to get a restraining order against him. Nobody at the Chandler mansion will allow him to see Annie or Emma and Ryan is convinced that Annie is lying to everyone at the Chandler estate as to what really happened between her and Ryan. Ryan manages to lock Adam, JR and Babe in a room together in order to get to his daughter.
Eventually, the very stunning Petey lets Ryan's captives free but Ryan is already upstairs visiting Annie and Emma. As Ryan is confronting Annie about that restraining order, she experiences cramping and collapses. Ryan rushes Annie off for medical attention and JR promises to keep an eye on Emma while they are gone. You've got to love this. Here's a guy with a restraining order against him taking the person who filed the restraining order to the hospital. It doesn't make sense!
In the meantime, a spooked Greenlee hears a strange noise and calls Jake to come over and investigate. He complies and finds a plant outside that must have blown over in the wind. Jake then tells Greens he is having a great time with Amanda and there is no drama connected to their relationship. What's up with that? No drama on a soap? Suddenly, Ryan calls Jake to tell him something's wrong with Annie and Jake rushes off to the hospital. Greenlee decides to go too.
Kendall visits Zach at the office wanting to know why he hired Ryan. Kendall thinks that Zach is attempting to keep Josh close to the vest because that's where Zach likes his emenies. Zach tells her she is out of her mind. He insists he only hired Ryan to fix the mess Joshua got them into. Kendall just doesn't buy it and Zach quickly tells her for once, he would like to have a conversation with Kendall when her friends or family weren't involved. Zach just wants to be more involved with their stuff a little more than he is. Kendall's baggage in friend and family land is clearly bigger than her stuff with Zach and I think the guy is becoming increasingly frustrated over this.
Kendall leaves Zach and runs into Erica who wants to know how she can get a hold of Joshua if she needs to. Kendall simply tells her mother they have to act as if Joshua is gone forever. Kendall takes a call from Greenlee who informs her about Annie's situation and she rushes off to the hospital. Sigh. Here she goes again rushing off to her friends while ignoring her adorable husbands needs.
Erica shows up at ConFusion and wants Jack's help locating Joshua. Carmen comes over and claims she will help anyway she can. Jack tells Erica not to be mean when Erica tells Carmen she cannot possibly help. Erica bails out of that conversation and leaves and Jack tells Carmen he suspects Erica doesn't have a family problem at all. Jack suspects Erica simply wanted his attention. Next, Erica goes to see Adam to see if he will help her find her lost son Josh, but Adam slams the mansion door in her face.
Greenlee bonds with Ryan who is waiting to hear about Annie's condition and the two are holding hands when Kendall rushes in. Just then Ryan is called to Annie's room to watch the sonogram procedure and Kendall learns that Annie could lose her child. Kendall could care less and Zach shows up and demands that Kendall support her friends instead of being so mean.
