Dinah plans a pool party and Bill tells her he needs to approve the guest list. He looks the guest list over and tells her it’s fine as long as she doesn’t add anyone else. He also mentions that he will not be able to attend. Dinah hooks up with Remy and talks him into coming to her pool party. Bill finds Remy with Dinah and says some pretty disturbing things about what’s going on between Remy and Max. Remy simply decides to let it all roll off his back. Bill discovers that Remy will be attending the party and he cancels the event.

Remy becomes extremely choked up when he sees the statue of Max for the first time. Later, he tells hospital staff members he would like to come back to work. He also pens a note to Ava and tells her he misses her.

Alan lets Bill know he is taking his company back. Later, Bill tells Lizzie she shouldn’t have left him alone with Alan and he reminds Lizzie that Sara’s loss was all Alan’s fault. Alan gets some sales figures from Alex and tells her that very shortly, he will be controlling everything once again. Later, Alan has dinner with Dinah and convinces her to help him take over the country. In the meantime, Beth has signed up to take some law courses and she learns that Mel will be teaching one of those courses.

Lillian grows concerned about Lizzie when she claims that she cannot live like this anymore without Sarah in her life. Alan tells Lizzie all about his plans to get the mansion and the business back but all she cares about is getting Sarah back. Later, Lizzie visits Reva looking for Jonathan’s telephone number so she can try to get Sarah back in her life. Reva tells Lizzie that she does not believe it is safe enough for Jonathan and Sarah to come home now since Alan is free.
Joshua surprises Reva with breakfast, but she is not interesting in dining with him at all. She tells Joshua she just set her wedding date with Jeffrey and lets him know it will be happening in two weeks. Josh bails and begins trying to find a way to get Reva back. Come on Josh, you’ve done it before! Reva asks Billy for help to prevent Josh from causing trouble at her wedding.

Alan tells Lizzie he made up that he made up that California address and she is crushed beyond belief. Just as Jeffrey is about to drop the case against Alan, Lizzie agrees to testify against him. Alan has another convulsion where Gus visits him and tells him to fight for his legacy. Bill offers to drive him to the hospital but Alan tells him he is the one who will need a doctor soon. Beth and Alan share warm hugs when she returns home and Alan manages to miss Dinah’s calls warning him that he is about to be arrested again.
