One Life to Live: Marty comes unglued after reuniting with Cole

      There are simply not enough two-ply tissues in the world to get me through One Life to Live these days.  The intense grief and personal tragedy at nearly ever turn has been wreaking havoc with my emotions.

     Here is a snapshot of today's show:

• Cole runs into Marty as she is entering the hospital and is overwhelmed.
• He deals with the fact that she doesn't remember him because he is that happy to see her alive.
• John McBain is at the Llanview PD in handcuffs after nearly beating Todd Manning to death.
• Blair is stunned when John tells her Marty is alive and was being held against her will by Todd.
• John is just as shocked when Blair tells him Starr's baby died.
• Langston brings Starr a lock of her baby's hair she received from Dr. Joplin. 
• Todd dreams about Marty loving him more because he chose to do the right thing and not take Starr's baby.
• Nora visits Marty in the hospital and Marty completely loses it when she screams out she willingly had sex with Todd.
• Nora tells Marty Todd will never hurt her again.
• Marty begins to gag and tells Nora this might not be over because she had sex without protection with Todd.
• Nora wonders if Marty could be pregnant.
• Michael tells a grieving Marcie he won't ever walk on her again.  He admits he loves her and regrets letting her go through this alone.
• Cole discovers his mother was at Todd Manning's house and he manages to gain access into Todd's hospital room.
• He demands that Todd wake up and stands over him clutching a pillow.

      I am not sure about the rest of you but I don't think I could take it if Marty is actually pregnant.  That would be way too cruel an outcome since she actually feels as though Todd took total advantage of her memory loss and it was as though he raped her all over again.  Marty carrying Todd's child  would be way too much for her (and me) to take at this point. 

     If Cole manages to smother Todd, that could be way too devastating as well and I honestly believe we will be spared from that scenario because it's unlikely Cole would be able to go through with that.   

    With all that's going on in Llanview right now, let's just hope that Jessica remembers taking Starr's baby so that issue can be resolved.  The baby snatching thing is just so old it's simply heartbreaking.
