Based on Audrey Niffenegger's bestselling novel, The Time Traveler's Wife, the romantic sci-fi drama is directed by Robert Schwentke and stars Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams.

The story is about a Chicago librarian (Eric Bana) who has a genetic disorder that causes him to involuntarily time travel when he is stressed.  His affliction complicates matters of the heart as he appears and disappears in time with Claire, the woman he loves (Rachel McAdams).  Their relationship spans Clare's entire life as Henry travels to various points in Claire's past and future.

This long awaited film, The Time Traveler's Wife, has been pushed forward in time (from its original release date of February 2010) and will travel into theaters August 14, 2009.
