President Obama visited with elementary school students at the Viers Mill Elementary School in Silver Spring, MD on Monday. During the surprise visit to the school he praised students for working hard and asked the children what they were reading.
Last week, President Obama and former President George H.W. Bush spoke at Texas A&M University to mark the schools' 20th anniversary of the Points of Light community service movement. Earlier in the week, the president spoke to students from the Dr. Martin Luther King Charter School in New Orleans.
