After this mornings round of strong to severe storms the sunshine if begining to break out from southern sections of the state on northward.  A warm front which was responsible for this mornings storms continues to push northward allowing for a cool front situated over western PA to move eastward.  Ahead of this cool front is an area of instability in the atmosphere which will be conducive for the development of strong to severe storms by around 3-5pm across the western sections of the state and by 5-8 over the shore areas.  The main threat will be hail and high winds from these storms coupled with the intense lighting.  Stay with the Newark Weather Examiner along with the National Weather Service for further updates.  You can log onto www.nws.noaa.gov/er/phi for instant weather warnings.
