Storms continue to move up the New Jersey Turnpike this afternoon as a warm front continues to push through the state.  As of 1pm the heaviest of the activity was situated over central New Jersey moving to the north around 50 mph.  You can expect high winds and a few claps of thunder as these storms roll through the area.

By later this afternoon a cold front will sweep across the area bringing with it the shot of a few isolated showers and thunderstorms.

Tonight looks much improved as temperatures will fall into the low 40's to upper 30's over sections of northern NJ.

The Newark Weather examiner is pinpointing a breezy yet mild day on Saturday with temperatures near 60 degrees.  Sunday features an even warmer day with temperatures around 65 degrees.

Have a great weekend
