With today's low humidity coupled with gusty winds; a Brush Fire Warning is in effect issued from The Weather Examiner of Newark, NJ.

A brush first has been raging on for the last several hours over Atlantic and Burlington counties in southern NJ.  This type of flare up could occure over the entire state as we progress through the afternoon.

A few pictures have began to stream in from the fire over southern NJ.

Fire officials have stressed that this fire could expand into populated area's if the winds continue.  Winds as we progress into the evening will die down and bit however will remain breezy as we progress into the evening.  By later tonight humidity values will increase as a front will move closer to the area.  As it stands right now, sunday's front will be fairly dry, however, a more amplified and wet system will approach New Jersey bringing with it .50-.70" of rain.
