We are back on alert today for the potential of small brush fires going through your day on Tuesday. The weather service has NOT issued a Red Flag Warning due in part to the decrease in winds however, with very low dewpoints and a slight breeze we are at an elevated level. Low level moisture will increase by Wednesday Afternoon ahead of a cold front situated out west so the risk for fire conditions will decrease even more.
Our sunny pattern we are currently in will come to an abrubt halt as we head into Thursday. A progessive pacific pattern will take shape over New Jersey as multiple weather systems will move through the region. While this will not be a prolonged event there will be a few quick showery day's predominantly on Thursday and Sunday while Friday and Saturday look to be fantastic.
The silver lining in this whole forecast will be the temperatures. I am expecting temperatures to remain 50 and above for much of the next 7 day's, with 60's coming into play next week.
