Are you the foodie who watches cooking competitions and thinks "I could have made that!"?  Is "Iron Chef America", "Chopped" and "Top Chef" all part of your television viewing habits?  Then this competition is for you!

Keeper Collection, LLC and Plate & Vine Interactive Cookbook have teamed up to offer an opportunity for home chefs to compete in an Iron Chef-style competition.  Chefs Under Fire features three top celebrity chef judges, David Bull of Bolla at the Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa in Dallas, Tyson Cole of Uchi and Kent Rathbun of Jasper's and Abacus.

Contestants choose a chef to cook for and are given a recipe to prepare at home.  The contestant then submits their entry to the chef in the form of a short essay description and accompanied by pictures and/or short video.  Finalists will be chosen from the entries to battle it out in front of a live audience and the chefs.  Prizes for winning Chefs Under Fire include a 2 night stay at Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa with dinner at Bolla, a Soda Stream Penguin home soda maker, Boos maple cutting boards, publication of the winning recipe in the Plate & Vine Interactive Cookbook and more

Aspiring chefs ready to show off their knife skills and brave the tension of a timed cooking competition in front of spectators and judges can register online.  For the audience, both general admission and a limited number of VIP seating is available.  Tickets are available online only. Spectators must be present and seated for the event by 7:55pm, as the Chefs Under Fire competition will be taped.  The contest will be held at the AT&T Executive Education & Conference Center and is co-sponsored by The Wine & Food Foundation of Texas.
