Heading into the holiday season, few things are more pressing, more beloved, more elemental in completing the Norman Rockwell scene you're going for, than pie. Sure, you can have Thanksgiving without this standard finish, but why would you want to?
But just because you want to eat pies around the holidays doesn't mean you necessarily want to go to the trouble of baking them - which is where these local favorites come in:
