The chai in question.

Visited Tealuxe last week when it was sweltering in the city and got a thirst-quenching iced tea. I got the tra que chai blend, but without the milk, and found it refreshingly spicy. Cinnamon was the dominant flavor, but the spicy blend contained many other subtle flavors, not the least of which being premium black tea.

Service was good, and the line wasn’t even that long (always a plus when you’re dying of thirst). Although some people might consider $3.50 a little expensive for a cup of tea, there’s a lot to be said for quality. There were four varieties of iced tea and four varieties of hot tea available when I went, though I was a bit annoyed that they have a “never shall the two meet” policy. The first tea I asked for was only available hot. Who drinks hot tea in 90 degree weather?

I ask you.

I ask you!
