Saturday, October 11 marked the fifth annual Runway For Life® – an elegant dinner gala highlighted by a one-of-a-kind celebrity fashion show that celebrates the release of Disney’s “Tinker Bell” on DVD and Blu-Ray Hi-Def October 28 and raises funds for St. Jude Children’s
Top models and celebrities walked the catwalk through a fairy wonderland at the unforgettable “Runway meets Broadway” style show. A marriage of fashion, music, dance and film, the extraordinary, action-filled evening celebrated the wonderful world of Disney and a magical land of fairies and pixie dust – featuring stunts, special effects and dance sequences themed to some of Disney’s most iconic films.
The show featured women’s wear by Robert Ellis, menswear by Brooks Brothers, make-up by CARGO Cosmetics and hair by Nexxus.
More than 1,000 guests attended to support the event. Runway For Life® raised well over $1 million for research and treatment of children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.
The event was co-chaired by the Thomas family (Marlo, Terre and Tony Thomas) and close family friend Robert Ellis. The evening was presented by Disney’s “Tinker Bell” on DVD and Blu-Ray Hi-Def October 28 to ensure that 100 percent of the net proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children’s
