20th ANNIVERSARY- FALL OF THE IRON CURTAIN:  VELVET REVOLUTION.  November 17,2009
The Czech Republic will commemorate the Velvet Revolution with a wide range of events. On November 17th there will be a concert "Twenty Years Without the Curtain" of top young Czech artists performing at the Old Town Square.For schudele of events please visit.   www.oponaops.eu

HISTORY TIP:  AUSTERLITZ- BATTLE OF THREE EMPERORS.  November 28,2009
History buffs don't miss the celebrations of the the Battle of The Three Emerors in Austerlitz. Look out for ceremonial military troops at Slavkov square, the redeployment to the battlefield, and finally the re-enactment of the Battle of the Three Emperors. Some 800 “soldiers” and 40 horses will take part in the event, and 15 cannons will be deployed. At night, visitors can look forward to a celebratory procession of the troops and fireworks.  www.austerlitz.org

November, 2009.  Culture lovers visit the controversial exhibition "Tomorrow Starts Yesterday" that focuses on the consequences political regimes have on humanity.
