Dewey and Gail, Scream 4
It's official. According to E! Online, Courtney Cox and David Arquette are set to appear in Scream 4 with Wes Craven directing and Kevin Williamson writing the script.
Does anyone besides me think David Arquette and Courtney Cox look like brother and sister rather than a couple? Just sayin'.
Arquette and Cox fell in love on the original Scream movie set, most likely David got turned on by Cox's bitchy character Gail.
Neve Campbell has turned down the opportunity to star in another Scream sequel according to Horror-Asylum.com, which leads me to believe that Scream 4 is probably going to be a throwaway to make some fast cash. Campbell's character is pretty much the driving force behind the story. It's similar to taking Jamie Lee Curtis out of the Halloween sequels--they just weren't that good.
