If your plate seemed less intimidating than usual this past week, it might be the fact only one recall was issued – for candy, and of course you ate a healthy meal before digging into that, right?  

Affy Tapple is recalling its Limited Edition – Classic Candy Flavors two-pack caramel apples because it fails to note the product was produced in a plant where the machinery is also used to process peanuts and tree nuts. The candied apples bear a UPC code of 34986-13000 with a "Best By" date on or before 10/15/09; they were distributed to stores in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
