Seven Maryland Congressional spouses are sponsoring the "Elect to End Hunger" event on Election Day, November 3, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Maryland Food Bank, 2200 Halethorpe Farms Road, Baltimore. Along with volunteers from the Bank of America, Marriott, T. Rowe Price and the United States Navy, the spouses of elected officials from Maryland county, city, state and federal governments will pack 4,800 holiday boxes of food for hungry Maryland families. The Maryland Food Bank will provide one turkey with each holiday box. According to the Maryland Food Bank, each box "will contain a can of sweet potatoes, a can of applesauce, a can of corn, a can of cranberry sauce, a can of gravy, a can of pumpkin, two cans of green beans, two cans of kale, two boxes of macaroni and cheese, one pie crust, one package of stuffing, one package of instant potatoes, and corn muffin mix."
