
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 (PS2) – Known as just Persona 4 in Japan, it’s a popular Japanese role playing game that takes place in a fictional city. The story is a mystery surrounding murders that happen during a fog and a weird television station that only airs at midnight where you can enter a different dimension. Sounds creepy.
Slingo Quest (DS) – For those unfamiliar, Slingo is a puzzle game that is a combination of Bingo and Slots. You basically spin numbers and hope you have them on your card. The game was online and very popular, but now you can play it on Nintendo DS with a handful of different modes.
Left Brain Right Brain 2 (DS) – It’s a sequel to the original with more mini games to test your speed, accuracy, recognition, memory and strategy. You also get to test yourself to see how well you write with your other hand.
Build a Lot (DS) – Yes, it’s a real estate game. Originally released for PC, the game allows you to construct, upgrade and sell houses for profit. You can also buy other houses and flip them for cash or rent them out.
Word Jong Party (Wii) – Word Jong is a word puzzle game that gives you random tiles and challenges you to spell words with the tiles given. You’re given more points for the longer words you spell and it can become an addicting game.
Dungeon Maker II: The Hidden War (PSP) – It’s the sequel to last year’s Dungeon Maker: Hunting Ground, a role playing game that’s a bit hack-n-slash and a bit creation. You basically get to fight a bunch of monsters and them lock them in dungeons for all types of valuable assets.
Story Hour: Fairy Tales (Wii) – There are four stories, including Snow White and Cinderella, that are told through an interactive format with the Wii Remote. This one is basically for the pre-schoolers and their parents.
Drivers' Ed Portable (DS) – Yes, it’s a weird idea for a game. But it’s for teens who want to start getting ready to get their driver’s license a bit early. The game features two modes, a written test and training in mini-games. The written tests feature the same tests for all 50 states, including provinces in Canada, Spain, Italy, France, Germany and the U.K.
RYGAR: The Battle of Argus (Wii) – Originally released for the PS2 six years ago as Rygar: The Legendary Adventure, The Battle of Argus is a remixed version made for the Wii. It’s basically a hack-n-slash game that uses the Wii remotes motion-sensing controls.
