Lisa Belkin's Motherlode blog is a load of fun!

I like a good blog and I love one that is not only true to life, but well-written with consideration and attention given to the audience and Motherlode - Adventures in Parenting, is a blog I love, love, love.

Lisa Belkin and her Motherlode blog first came to my attention after I received a huge surge in traffic here for my "Sexy kid Halloween costumes spook parents" post. Turns out Lisa had referred to my article in her post about her own adventures in costume shopping. But this spotlight is not about sharing the link love. Lisa has a really great blog covering a wide range of topics that mainly explore maintaining a "work/life" balance.

The Motherlode blog is a part of the New York Times and Lisa is an accomplished contributor for the NYTimes as well as the author of "Life's Work: Confessions of an Unbalanced Mom." As if she didn't have enough to do, she also has a show on XM radio "Life's Work With Lisa Belkin." With two teens, a husband and a thriving career, Lisa knows what she writes! So add Motherlode to your feedreader!
