Nothing like goofing off!

Guess what - from the ages 0 - 7, you are the coolest person in the world to your kids. After that it may be touch and go, but your kids, no matter how old they are can appreciate a good silly time.

It's pretty easy with little ones, a goofy face or a funny dance will bring a quick smile. Older kids may favor pillow fights, silly string attacks and the occasional weird outfit. So what's the point? Vuneralbility.

Parents are the biggest, most influential authority figure in their kids' life. This power and influence can be intimidating to your children, so it's great to show your them your fun side. It's a lesson in being a whole, dynamic human and shows them that it's okay to have fun and get a little weird. While they may not realize it at the time, the ability to let go and laugh at yourself is a valuable virtue.
