Take a moment for yourself and your kids and read a good book

Reading should be an important, daily family tradition for both adults and kids. Most parents know they should sit down and read with their kids, but did you know it is also important for you to have your own reading interests?

Great parenting involves giving something back to yourself. We pour so much of ourselves into our children that parents can often feel depleted. Taking time to read something beyond Green Eggs and Ham will give you time to recharge and it is a positive example for your kids. Remember children learn by watching, so crack a book!
