Denver has many amazing parks but Washington Park is our very best. Located on 165 acres of Denver's best real estate, Wash Park has two beautiful lakes, and boasts Denver's largest flower garden, which is a replica of former first lady, Martha Washington's flower garden at Mt. Vernon, Virginia. The park is surrounded by more than 7,000 of Denver's highly educated residents. The neighborhood is manicured and very safe. Some of Denver's best restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping spots are located within walking distance too. Here are some of the many fun things to do at the park.
The energy is infectious at Wash Park! While you are there check out Bonnie Brae Ice Cream for the best cone in town. Wash Park Grille is my personal favorite for brunch, lunch, or dinner, and is very close by. Drop in to the Kentucky Inn for a cold beer after your walk. If you need a perk-me-up bike over to Stella's for a cup of Denver's best coffee.
