Sales for the Christmas season were dismal - down 5 to 8 percent.
That means great deals for bargain hunters. So if you received any gift cards, no need to wait for the prices to drop.
Top-after-the-season-sales lists what the 10 top stores, the likes of Macy's and Home Depot , are selling at huge discounts - up to 80 percent off on some items.
So don't linger too long over that second cup of coffee...you know the old adage about the early bird or in this case, the early shopper.
