Fancy Tiger is Denver’s hip and cool craft store and the center of Denver’s Indie craft movement. They cater to a wide range of interests, carrying Amy Butler Fabric, as well as the new Fabrics from Project Runway’s Jay McCarroll.

The classes get high marks from everyone who attends them and range from basic sewing classes, to how to make children’s clothing, knitting, spinning and much more for adults. This year they’re offering two camps for kids one for budding fashion designers and the other to explore crafts including sewing, paper crafts, needle felting and hand spinning supplies.

Then there are the regular get-togethers like, “Open Craft Night” and “Sewing Help Night”. These nights at the store sound like a great social way to get to know people and get things done – and maybe buy more new projects!

They also have a blog where you can keep update on new products and information. They also have a series “better know a crafter” where you can get to know some of their “friends” and customers.
