Foo Fighters were the headlining act at this year’s annual July 4th celebration on the South Lawn of The White House. Although the group played a short 5 song set, they debuted a new song called Wheels, one of two new songs that will be included on the band's greatest hits album scheduled for release in November.

Dave Grohl is also working on a side-project with Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age) and John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin). The unnamed side project will feature Grohl on drums, Homme on guitar, and John Paul Jones on bass. Grohl first mentioned the project in 2005, but it’s finally happening and antiquiet.com was first to report the news.
