In this recent appearance on the BBC television program HARDtalk, Tori Amos discusses a variety of topics including the personal nature of her songs, political views expressed in her music, and the current state of the music business.

The third segment of the interview is especially forthright and honest as Tori discusses topics that are especially of interest to other musicians. In a discussion of the current music industry Tori explains 360 deals and how sometimes due to production costs, T-shirt sales are the only revenue an artist receives from a live tour. She also discusses the battles she’s taken on in her music and gives a glimpse into the battles that are to come.
