She pulls herself back in. While die-hard supporters of Hillary Clinton make noise about a roll-call vote on the convention floor, the Senator herself is using that noise to assert her role in Denver. There are two issues here: Senator Clinton's prominence in the Democratic National Convention and Barack Obama's (disappointing, if you ask many Hillary supporters) efforts at helping Hillary retire her campaign debt.
Hillary's role in the DNC seems quite prominent, there is already a parade being held by Colorado Women Count/Women Vote on August 26th to commemorate her run for the presidency, as well as the 88th anniversary of women's suffrage.
Maybe she wants to be the keynote speaker for the Convention (right now her speech is scheduled for the 26th during prime time), maybe she wants to be more strongly considered for the vice-presidency, or maybe this is really just about that debt.
The relationship between Clinton and Obama is still rocky according to a new article in Time magazine... several Clinton associates talk off the record about Hillary's continued skepticism about whether Obama can beat John McCain. Skepticism or wishful thinking? One never knows what darkness lies in the heart of a Clinton.
