United States President: John McCain(R) vs. Barack Obama(D) - Here's a good breakdown on when the east coast states start closing polls and posting results.

United States Senate: Bob Schaffer(R) vs. Mark Udall(D) - Looks like Udall's in

CO Congressional District 2: Jared Polis(D)  vs. Scott Starin(R) - Colorado's Democratic benefactor steps into the limelight

CO Congressional District 3: John Salazar(D) vs. Wayne Wolf(R) - Salazar should win in a walk

CO Congressional District 4: Betsy Markey(D) vs. Marilyn Musgrave(R) - Markey rides Obama's coattails

CO Congressional District 5: Hal Bidlack(D) vs. Doug Lamborn(R) - This is Lamborn's seat as long as he wants it

CO Congressional District 6: Mike Coffman(R) vs. Hank Eng(D) - Might be closer than usual for this district, but Coffman will win

Amendment 46: An idea whose time has come? Or a deceptively worded con job? Both?

Amendment 47: The unions look poised for a sweep

Amendment 48: Pbbbbbt

Amendment 49: Try again, Caldara

Amendment 50: Get your ATM card out for some high limit... it's still a hustle by the casinos, though.

Amendment 51: No real opposition, should pass

Amendment 52: Three Republican hacks try to earmark some highway projects... denied!

Amendment 54: Nope

Amendment 58: Amendment-wise, this is the only real suspense of the night... it's ahead in the polls, but I have a bad feeling.

Amendment 59: Romanoff beats the Douglas Bruce crowd again

********Attention Jefferson County District 2 Voters********

Jason Bane is running against Kevin McCaskey for county commissioner, and voters in the 2nd District should give him a chance. He's young, but he's got some big-name endorsements (Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrison calls Bane "one of the more creative people at finding solutions to problems that I have ever met") and at any rate, he's not Kevin McCaskey, whose pathetic excuse for a record can be examined here, here and here. Down-ballot Republicans like McCaskey in this state are counting on voters having short attention spans and not filling out the bottom of their ballots. Do not let them off the hook. There's a fresh faced candidate on the ballot who wants to do the right thing. Vote for him.
