2010 Ford Mustang introduction

There’s one sure way to bring even jaded automotive writers to their feet, and Ford did it at the 2010 Mustang press introduction at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show. In front of a backdrop of famous Mustangs set on scaffolding like so many Matchbox cars in a shadow box, world drifting champion Vaughn Gittin Jr. bellowed a 2010 Ford Mustang GT sideways in full opposite lock in huge circles, leaving rings of tire marks on smooth concrete. That’s a sure way to get attention introducing the 2010 Mustang as well.

We’ve learned a lot more new about the 2010 Mustang and we’ll be cluing you in on it over the coming week. Meanwhile enjoy the above video, read (if you haven’t already—though we’ll give you double secret permission to go back and read them again) these articles on the 2010 Ford Mustang: Engine and suspension, Interior features, and Exterior design.

Come back again for more Mustang info and other Los Angeles show news.
