Flute Fest returns November 12, 2009
Flute Gramercy

Sparkling wine-centric wine bar, Flute Gramercy, will host its annual Flute Fest on November 12, 2009 from 6:00-10:00 PM. This walk-around event will feature a tasting of 20 Champagnes, hors d'oeuvres and a live DJ. The $95.00 ticket will benefit the Food Bank for New York City.

While the list of Champagnes for this year's tasting is not available, previous Champagne house participants have included: Piper-Heidsieck, Pommery,Taittinger, Veuve Clicquot, Moët & Chandon, Alfred Gratien, Ayala, Charles Heidsieck, Henri Abele, Paul Goerg, Bollinger, Montaudon, Jacquesson, GH Mumm, Perrier-Jouët and Henriot.

In addition to tasting the wines, event participants can ask questions of the Champagne house representatives who will be on hand at each tasting station.

Champagne is a specific sparkling wine hailing from the legally demarcated, Champagne region in France.
