The Fabulous Femme Sip and Shop Trunk Show. Enjoy an evening of complimentary hors d'ouvres and frozen cocktails while shopping from vendors who offer everthing from jewelry to handbags to manicures. The $25 admission ticket includes drinks, food, makeovers, and a goody bag. The event takes place on Saturday, August 16, from 5:00-9:00 pm at the Comfort Inn and Suites in College Park, MD. Reality Show Casting. An upcoming reality TV show is looking for 20-something women in DC. The show will follow a group of energetic, outgoing, and charismatic young women working in a popular DC bar. Fashion and Fun with Lane Bryant. Lane Bryant at Parkridge Center in Manassas, VA has teamed up with NLJ Events to kick-off its "Friends and Family Weekend" on August 16, 2008. The day will include make-up consulations, wardrobe consultations and a fashion show that will take place at 2:30 pm.
