Batgirl isn't so radical, after all
After teasing us with an image of a new Batgirl costume that looked like some sort of plastic armor, DC Comics appears to be backing off and offering us the softer side of this junior superhero. At left, we note the character is back in more traditional garb, the skintight body-clinging pajamas that most of her brethren seem comfortable wearing.
When you get right down to it, however, the previous outfit looked a lot more, well, practical. No matter how old or new she is, Batgirl is bound to get a lot of bullets, fists and who knows what else hurled at her. Body armor might make a little more sense than what is essentially underwear.
