The old Cap is set to rise from the flames

Trying to figure out just how the heck Marvel will bring the original Captain America back to life? Well, so are we.

The company is offering what looks to be an eight page sneak peak at www.marvel.com/reborn. And you can get a little extra detail here at Newsarama.

Hopefully, you know the story by now. After gunning down good ol' Steve Rogers in the street, Marvel is set to bring the fellow back again. We've been enjoying the exploits of the new Captain America - James "Bucky" Barnes, Cap's ol sidekick - but heaven forefend a comic-book company should shun the chance to use a cheap story stunt to generate more publicity.

Will Marvel use magic? Time travel? Bad plot exposition? Does Bucky hang around much longer? You'll just have to find out Wednesday, when a new series, "Captain America: Reborn," hits shelves.
