Scotty doesn't seem as appealing if he can't use his right leg, eh, pop? (Chron.com)

Just as we predicted weeks ago, mousy Adrian's beloved Scott was shot down in a hail of bullets after daring to go after the handful of drug dealers terrorizing the ritzy burg in which nosy Mary Worth resides.

Before the hardy cop woke up the other day, Adrian and her pop  vowed to stand by him, no matter how long it took him to mend from his injuries.  And then today....uh-oh! You mean Scott might not be able to use his right leg? Let's get out of here!

Yes, it 's very well and good to say you'll nurse an injured cop back to health - no matter how long the road may be. But sometimes reality can be a real pain in the you know what, and it makes you wonder if these seemingly upstanding folks are about ready to abandon Officer Scotty to whatever ravages fate has in store for him if he can't move that right leg pretty gol-darn soon!
