...then you'd likely see more of this sort of thing, as Mark Parisi depicts in his offbeat one-panel, "Off The Mark."

Sure, super heroes are vulnerable to everything from Kryptonite to the color yellow. Yet you can imagine  attorneys and bureaucrats would saddle many of your favorite characters with what would likely be a universal weakness: Red tape.

So, yes, one can envision the Human Torch being treated like a really hot cup of coffee from McDonald's, or Batman having to offer up some sort of disclaimer when he appears before young children, or Plastic Man having something stamped on his forehead cautioning that he's not appropriate for children aged 6 and under.  Or Wolverine having to put rubber tips on his claws.

The mind boggles. And I think this sort of concept could just go on and on and on.

What sort of craziness do you think regulators or attorneys would force upon your favorite comic-book character?
