Rudi Johsnon is one of the players the Cincinnati Bengals are releasing as they trim their roster to 53 players. Wow. Is the running back market really that saturated that the Bengals couldn't get anything in return for Rudi Johnson? At least the running back situation suddenly looks a lot clearer for them.

Pick up Chris Perry if he is sitting in your league's waiver wire or free agency pool. You may also want to handcuff Kenny Watson to him, as Perry has a history of being fragile.

Don't even think about starting Perry for the season opener unless you're really hurting at the running back position. Perry is too unproven and injury-prone at this point. But any starting RB is worth keeping around, so wait and see how he performs before making your next move with him.
