Tony Gonzalez didn't get his desired trade to a contender, but don't expect him to let it affect him on the field. He'll continue to be a top-five fantasy TE.

Gonzalez has always been the consummate professional, and he knows it was just business that kept him from being moved. Besides, if management wouldn't part with their prized tight end for a future third-rounder, shouldn't he take that as a compliment?

The underpaid (relative to his NFL peers) Anquan Boldin lobbied hard to leave the Cardinals, but we all saw how it didn't hurt his performance before he took an ugly hit. If anything, Boldin had more of a reason for hard feelings than Gonzalez.

Still, you have to feel for Gonzalez being torn between loyally playing for one team for his entire career and chasing that ultimate trophy. For now, he has no choice but to play for one of the league's worst teams.
