Eat local from one of Charlotte's Farmers Markets

The long awaited farmers market season is approaching.  Farmers Markets are a great way to support the local economy and save money.  Here is your guide to farmers markets and what is in season around the area.

Charlotte Regional Farmers Market

  • Located near the airport on Yorkmont Rd.
  • Open Tuesday - Saturday from 8 AM to 6 PM
  • Starting in May, they will be open Sunday from 12:30 PM to 6 PM

 

Charlotte Tailgate Farmers Market

  • Located in Southend on West Park Ave.
  • Opens April 25, 9 AM to 1 PM
  • They only sell local products

 

Kings Drive Farmers Market

  • Located in Midtown at the corner of Kings & Morehead
  • Open Tuesday, Friday & Saturday from 7 AM to 7 PM

 

Center City Green Market

  • Located Uptown at 7th and Brevard
  • Open Wednesday from 8 AM to 4 PM and Saturday from 8 AM to 1 PM
  • They open in May
