'Tis the season of movie awards, and I'm not just talking about the Golden Globes, Academy Awards, SAG Awards, etc. etc. The 2009 LDS Movie Awards kicked off in Utah this weekend, and it's refreshing to see that indie movie makers and viewers of the LDS persuasion in the good old Beehive State have a heathly sense of humor when it comes to their superstar author, Stephenie Meyer, and her Twilight juggernaut: Dusk, a spoof of Twilight, was awarded an honorable mention in the 24-hour Film Making Marathon contest as well as an Audience Choice Award.
