Is nothing sacred anymore?
Apparently not, and good riddance I say: there isn't a single situation that a comic book can't liven up, including a Presidential election.
On October 8th, Phoenix-based Atomic Comics is releasing a set of Presidential Material comic books, one each for the Democratic and Republican hopefuls. The books, at $3.99 each, contain 32 full-color pages and provide a brief history of each candidate.
If you're an Obama fan, Presidential Material: Barack Obama details the Senator's early life and includes passages from his 2004 "Audacity of Hope" address at the Democratic National Convention in Boston.

For McCain supporters, there is Presidential Material: John McCain which focuses on McCain's experiences as a prisoner of war in Vietnam and his later entrance into politics.
Undecided? You can get both together as a flip book for $7.99: the front of the book features Obama; flip it over and turn it upside down and you've got the McCain book. Now that's bipartisanship for you.
For more information, including the latest sales stats for each book (in a Presidential campaign, everything turns into fodder for pollsters) and a peek at some sample pages, visit Atomic Comics.
